My sister was just told that she has macular degeneration and she is 56. Her doctor prescribed a soft gel. she has a hard time swalling pills. Is your product a soft gel? If not, how large is it? She would need the one for smokers.

Preserve Mac Forte comes in capsule form, they are not soft gel. Some customers in your sister’s situation open the capsules and poor them into juice or another liquid. I do not know the technical specs regarding size, but I can find out and let you know by email. I am in the process of quitting smoking and want to see what the ingrediants are in this version versus the non-smokers version. I would assume the vitamin A or beta-caratene would not be included. I would like to add that even if you quit smoking I was advised by the retinal specialist that you should be a non-smoker for 5 years before going back to Vitamin A / Beta-caratine. True or not?
Rusty, yes, you are correct. Our smoker’s formulation does not have Vitamin A (Beta-Carotene). This is the only difference. I recommend listening to your eye specialist and following their advice.
